Banned for 5 days today.

Supposed reason: Pestering of staff.

Plausible reason: Saying I was not sorry for certain action. Banned for 5 days in "response."

Ban appeal:

First of all,

#2.Listen to Staff
Our staff are not here to be royalty or be above the other players, they are here to help keep order and help players. Don’t ignore a staff member, and obey what they tell you. If you feel you’ve been wrongly treated by a staff member, voice your case in the Support Forum.

#5. Don’t be Obnoxious
Being funny and goofy is fine what we don’t want is obnoxiousness. If you’re constantly asking immature questions or pestering people, or being simply uncourteous, we don’t want you here. This server is for mature adult players, but we’ll tolerate young MATURE players.

These are the two rules that I suspect come in to play in this dispute. Both are under the "warning" section and I don't think are anywhere near warrant of a 5-day temporary ban.

I posted this topic because I feel I have been wrongfully banned. At least for a disproportionate amount of time. I believe a ban is issued as punishment for breaking a rule. If no rules are broken, why is a ban issued? The only rules that I believe come into play are rule #2 and rule #5 of the "warning" section of the Server Rules found on the server website.

So this is my argument in my appeal: I was issued a ban today and I believe it is disproportionate to the possible rules I have broken and request that the ban is either reduced, or lifted entirely.

Heads up for everyone else... This is not the conversation to have with the person who is running an event, and you intentionally troll with negativity for the "fun of it".

The 5 day tempban IS YOUR WARNING.

To make you feel better, I would have outright perma banned you for your actions today @ the HG event.

LordEboshi, for future reference, simply don't act out like that. It makes it 10x more stressful when you have to deal with people who don't listen to you when hosting events, and then also having to deal with people who are specifically there to try to piss you off. Trust me, I would know after hosting many events here. I truly hope that you don't find "fun" in trolling people and making their lives more stressful, and try to keep this in mind next time you are thinking about trolling.
