I was banned for abusing a bug that allows teleporting to and from the End.

I was warned about using illegal server commands in the End by the staff yesterday.  I have no desire to cheat / break rules, and I immediately complied once I was advised that what I was doing was not allowed.  I deleted my teleport homes from the end, and have since traveled to/from the End via the End Portal and Exit Portal.  While I was there today, my server connection failed (server reset I think), so I logged back on and resumed my activity there (without having teleported).  Shortly afterwards I was banned.

I think that it may have appeared that I got to the End by cheating, but that is not the case.  It's possible that because I was already in the End when the server reset, and was near the location where I had been warned before, that perhaps it looked as if I had teleported there.  Also, I created a new home teleport in the OR near the portal, and gave it the same name as my old home, but it's actually located in the OR.  If I am given the chance to show the staff where I was when I got banned and how I got there, it should become readily apparent that I was not cheating.

I would greatly appreciate your thoughtful consideration.  I really enjoy this server and its community - this is my only home online, and I would be devastated if I could not return.  I apologize for having not understood the rules concerning this in the first place, and I know it's my responsibility to understand them fully or ask the staff if in doubt.
