Veterancraft's Community Event #4: Build Off! | Announcements

Theme and Location

The theme for this build off will be announced about 10-15 minutes before the start of the build off so players do not get an unfair advantage.

The location for this build off will be in an arena that will not yet be announced, but you will be able to warp there from spawn for quick access the day of the build off.

Materials

Players will NOT be needing to bring their own materials, and you will have a full workstation set up at the arena. Players will also be able to get their items after the build off is finished if they wish.

Date and Time

The date will be Saturday, July 21st, 2012.

The start time will be 3:00 PST, 6:00 EST.

Understand that players will be expected to be on before the set time by at least 15 minutes.

Rules

Donors will NOT be allowed to use their perks in order to make the build off fair.
During the build off players will NOT be allowed to replenish their materials.
Stealing from another player will result in a disqualification and temporary ban.
Members must be on by the set time.
Players may not go around to other plots during the build off.
All VeteranCraft rules apply.

Reward

First Place - 20,000 shillings

Second Place - 5,000 shillings

Third Place - 1,000 shillings

How to Join

Once again we will be having teams in this build off in order to let more players join. You can join by posting the application in the forum thread this blog links to. Note that not all teams must have four players. Here's the application:

If I must I can add more teams, but the best option now would be to try and join an existing team! Moving onto the more important details, the build off may or may not go on today and I'm trying to figure that out right now. It mainly comes down to whether Meat would think it's appropriate or not with all of the issues happening. I'm assuming he'll want to move it tomorrow though.

How long are these events usually? I have work at 10pm EST and I usually get ready for it around 8:45. If it doesn't go over those times, then count me in. I'll be on a team by myself.
