The Lore Wiki is now active, and ready for your subscription. Check it out, sign up, and contribute content! Please read the home page of the wiki for standards, rules for submitting content and the basic wiki syntax usage. For the time being, users will have to be manually approved, but we try to get to them quickly. You won't receive an automated email like you should due to this.
We would like to allow and encourage everyone to contribute content. Start a wiki page about your town, your structure, or historical event... Add to the culture and value of the wiki. I'm looking forward to seeing tons of content added.
Please: Don't bug or ask people to update something on the wiki for you, if you see something that needs updated, sign up, login and do it yourself. That's what a wiki IS.
If you have questions or need assistance with the wiki, please use this thread.
Notice: Please use your Minecraft IGN (case sensitive) for your wiki login.
Please be aware, if you do something that warrants a rollback of the wiki, or a ban from the wiki, you'll also be banned from the server, and so will your IP.
Make a mental note: I've added Wiki as a header navigation link, but clicking the wiki link goes to the VeteranCraft Wiki, which is about technical and physical aspects of the server, whereas if you hover over it, it will dropdown the Lore Wiki which is about all the stuff you veterans care about, like cities, regions, people, historical events, etc.

Once manually confirmed, you can login with the info you setup your account with and modify content, add pages, whatever.
I plan to make a video explaining a bit about the wiki, and hope it will be up in the next 3 days.

It looks great and will surely be very useful once everyone does their part to fill it with content!

Hey crew!
Once life gets back to normal for me, I play on opening up my artistic services to the server to add some flare to the lore wiki. Please don't ask for things yet, but soon enough you'll see what I've got in mind and we can work out some grand plans!

Pherian, you are the best. I'll have you know, both of your images that you have made for me are on my wiki page. 
I just wish that skins were working because my snare skin isn't visible and I want people to see it.

First off, i absolutely love this idea. It will really add a unique aspeft to VC, having lore but not beig an rpg server.
Second, I think that everyone should put a bit of their game time into this. If everyone takes twenty or so minutes to make a small contribution, this would fill up nicely! Also, as I have talked to Tony about, I think people should try to connect with each others lore. Such as, Oasis has been affected by Avalon and Vetra. So it would be awesome for everyone's lore to intertwine, making the world seem much more connected.

Already have Freya connected to Vetra's we'll see how Vetra will create theirs and maybe modify mine based off of that as well.

I am registered, just waiting on approval.
I know that I'll be creating two pages at least. The Highmoor city-page, and the Xhoirho nation-page (Comprising of the Xhoirhian Highliands, Sh'oal Forest, and Lh'isaal Plains districts. I think rather than have a page per district, these three will be separate headings on the same page.)
I'm sure I'll also be helping on the Trymaer region-page, among others. Maybe even an Archives page.
Exciting times.

I'll be updating all of these maps as soon as I get a chance guys. I'm excited to get this running. If you create a page and want a specific map in a place, just put a placeholder image and a note there for me to see so I know to make you a better map.

i dont know if anyone else has had this problem, but when i went to regester, it wouldn't let me click the regester button. i filled everything out but everytime i clicked the regester button, nothing happend. is this just a problem with my computer or something else?

I'm not sure if anyone is having that issue, but until we find out, try other browsers.

I've started uploading maps and whatnot to the server. I don't know how to make groups and stuff, because I made a page for the Sailor Coast, but I think it should have been made part of a group called Districts:Sailor Coast. Same thing with citizens: probably need to create a group for Citizens:Pherian and whatnot. Regions were done it looks like. 
Not sure how to do all of that, I'm just going to stick with artsy thingies
OH one more thing!
I think it'd be nice if we could get a timeline going for the world's history. Namely, I think if one of the admin's could get us a date on when everyone joined, we could then multiply that by a specific number and create a 'year' of that character or city's birth.
For instance, if Meat joined 450 days ago, we could say that was 450 years ago, or 900 years ago, or something like that. Gotta go, just an idea. Run with it!

We appreciate the artsy things!
Regions works well, but a Citizens group would be handy. I'm planning on putting in an in-game shot and the awesome painting of LightWarriorK, as well as a brief Minecraft and VeteranCraft history, and a list of notable projects I've worked on in VeteranCraft.
I've uploaded a few images for the Highmoor page, but I don't know if there's a better way to group them so that it's easier to organize the pictures. If everyone just uploads all their images whilly-nilly like I just did, it's going to be a mess to wade through them all.
Still the Highmoor page is looking nice so far, I think, and I've updated the Highmoor entry on the main page.
I would also like to request a group for Nations, so like Nations:Xhoirho. A place for pages, like Vetra, and Queen Freya, that might be made up of several cities or districts but aren't an entire Region.

There's really nothing to it, we just title the pages like that. For example Cities:Baywalk. If you want to add different categories, just make sure to name the page like that: Citizens:Pherian. If there are pages already you can rename the page like that. Nothing special needs to be done.
I see the updated world map, looks great.
