Hello fellow Veterans, and welcome to the second VeteranCraft Community Build Off! Below you are going to find the information and guidelines pertaining to the build off competition this coming weekend.

The theme and location of the build will be announced one hour before the contest begins as not to give an unfair advantage to those who sign up early. There will be eight teams competing for supremicy in this build off, with each team allowed to contain one to four members.

The competition will take place in a remote location, however quick access will be provided via the gold and lapis lazuli portal in the centre of the spawn plaza.

Date & Time

≫ Friday, July 6th, 2012
≫ 3:00PM Pacific, 6:00PM Eastern

Those competing are expected to be on no later then 2:30PM Pacific, 5:30PM Eastern so that they may be briefed.

Reward

First Place ♦ 20,000.00 shillings
Second Place ♦ 5,000.00 shillings
Third Place ♦ 1,000.00 shillings

Please keep in mind rewards are awarded to teams, not players. Teams with less members will of course have a larger payout per person if they win - however they will have a disadvantage in terms of manpower.

 Materials

There are no material restrictions, however all teams are required to bring their own materials. Each plot has it's own workstation equipped with a crafting table, anvil, two furnaces, and five double chests. In addition, each plot has been given an extra chest that contains some useful items for this challenge. Tools will also not be provided.
All materials used during the contest will be available for reclamation after the winners have been announced.

Rules

≫ Contestants are allowed to replenish their materials, however theft from fellow contestants will result in disqualification and a temporary ban until the contest concludes.
≫ Plots are zoned from bedrock to sky limit, however constructs must remain at or less then sixteen blocks above ground. Underground portions are not limited.
≫ Contestants are not permitted to enter each other's plots. This has been restricted with Residence, however bypassing this will result in disqualification.
≫ Teams with missing members at the starting call will still be allowed to enter, however once the competition begins late members will not be allowed to compete.

More important then all of the rules above, is a reminder that this is purely for enjoyment and entertainment of all VeteranCraft players. Please remain a good sport, and support your fellow Veterans! - Emulated
